You look at a list of names and you see one you like, except it has an "extra" letter that isn't actually pronounced. For example, in the name Hannah you could just use the name Hanna, eliminating the -h. In Scarlett, you could eliminate the extra -t, making Scarlet In Jack, you could eliminate the -k, making Jac. But in all those examples, the names with the extra letters are the more popular forms of the names so it kinda bothers me that it just might be me thinking like this??
