Yakio 1,612 Posted September 17, 2017 Share Posted September 17, 2017 Like really, when I try to tell a story or just stuff I do in general to someone they completely ignore me and act as if i'm not there or I get cut off halfway through. When I try to hangout with both of my "friends" I end up becoming a third wheel. Today, I was in a group conversation with a bunch of classmates and other people, I just sat there, didn't really say anything until I decided to tell a joke, as expected, no one listened and this one dude said "Giuliana ( my name ) coming in ( into the convo ) and no one cares" and that made me pissed and sad at the same time so I made the excuse that I had to attend class early because it was embarrassing af. NOT EVEN MY CLOSEST FRIENDS can remember or even wish me a happy birthday on my bday. Do you know how many people wished me a happy birthday on my bday excluding family members? 1 person did. Also drop your friends plz if they dont try to include you they arent your friends. Dont take people seriously try to talk back because it becomes awkward(im talking about that guy). I just dropped mine recently since I realized she only wants to be with me when she needs something. Sure, it gets pretty lonely but at least I'm not as stressed back when we were "friends". To be honest, I have social anxiety so finding friends isn't exactly a walk in the park. Luckily, I've gotten to know some people during freshman year enough to have conversations with them. So I'm not 100% friendless. Although, I really thought that toxic friend and I were gonna be best friends so I put most of my energy into our relationship. As of right now, I don't really have a friend that I'm super close to. I'm joining different clubs around campus to meet more people even though its super nerve wracking.
