aziza94 84 Posted September 16, 2017 Share Posted September 16, 2017 Didn't Hitler tried to do something like that but failed ? , I don't think it will ever be a thing , cuz only rich people would be able to afford it and they will end up being more richer then they already are and poor people will keep getting dumber and poorer , then it will create gap , class , and finally poor people will revolt and kill & terrorize rich people and demand justice and equality and then the balance will again be restored when rich people get scared of keeping it up and then hide their intelligence trying to fit in the majority of dumb population . For example, most prominent technologists in 2014 predicted that a computer will be able to beat a world champion in GO in another decade... Back then the average prediction from a survey of experts in the field that AI will reach human level superintelligence is 10% by 2022, 50% by 2050, and 90% by 2075. Well Google's AlphaGO program defeated THE world champion GO player in 2016. Now even the best GO players don't have a chance against Al. So yeah AI has progressed at an alarmingly fast rate.
