Like it's probably just because the original versions have such sentimental value to me but even still.. Like either embrace that part of your history and use the original 5 member version of don't include it at all would be preferable to rerecording but that's just me. Still curious to hear the new versions. well the beauty of the re-recordings is that the old versions still exist so you can choose to listen to what you want. I don't see it as a denial of their past, more the opposite in fact. they still cherish the songs from back then but the reality now is that Tohoshinki is two people and now has been for even longer than it was a quintet. I respect their decision to continue to pay tribute to these classic songs and to me that is embracing their past, a past that was foisted upon them and which they had no choice but to work with. giving fans the re-recordings they've wanted for years is ensuring that there's something for everyone Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I assumed Avex/SM would push this release out before enlistment but I guess this was the better strategy in the long run. I love the 'Version C' cover. They look amazing in leather.
