Lautner status when he's a bit older. Not very good... but nobody seems to care... Just average. where did all the Haley Joel Osment's go? Why did the Culkin's have to grow up? At first, Jaden didn't really want to be an actor and he didn't have fun while doing The Karate Kid. As he got older, though, he wanted to give it another shot. Will is just giving him an in to do what he wants. Of course, his iconic career is going to have some influence in the business, but that's to be expected within any industry. I personally think that Jaden is a decent actor. I prefer his music over his acting though. He does not have his dads crazy charisma but then neither do many other people, he does obviolsy have alot of talent be it in acting or music though.
