How to get my earring out

anxiety

I put it in my right ear by accident instead of my left and like I really can't go around with a earring in my right ear it's like that backing thing idk what it's called is stopping me from pulling it out.

find a friend to stabilize the earring/lobe (so you don't rip it) and use something like pliers (or just their force) to finagle the back off.

question though... why can't you walk around with an earring in your right ear? I haven't heard ear specific ring mention since like, the 90's. I know back then one side was "gay side" ... but i genuinely haven't heard anyone mention that in like over a decade. Is that why? Or is there a new reason?

Could try lubricating the ear lobe with something maybe?
