With the fact that this movie is rated r, I can also guess how gory it must be, so nope. I'll just list the warnings here for people who are curious about the movie, warning for spoilers Besides him, you don't see any other kids get killed or extreme injuries besides a broken arm and cuts The girl has a sexually abusive father (one of the bullies has an abusive father as well), but there is no scenes showing it besides implication in behavior/discussion. In the end, he does attempt to but she gets away and kills him before it gets anywhere There is one scene with half a dead girl's body but it is shadowed out for most of it if I remember correctly and was an illusion from pennywise There are teenagers who die but they don't actually show anything and you can hardly feel bad for them as they are bullies who attempt to kill the children anyway Besides that, it's mostly just illusions of zombies/creepy pictures they saw/blood but none of them are of children if I remember correctly. I haven't seen IT yet, but I've talked to people who have and they said that the R rating was mostly due to cursing and teenage boy potty humor and that the movie was more creepy than anything. Besides, IT is not supposed to be some slasher film in the first place. Plus, there is a point to the main characters being children, it's just not to make something come off as more disturbing. Is there gore in the video? I don't do gore Georgie gets his arm bitten off by pennywise and struggles around on the road before getting dragged down into the sewer.
