Career Advice? Like can I get some puleez

I graduated from university in May and recently started my first 'adult' job. It's not really what I think I want to pursue long term (and I feel like I'm making beans).

When I started my job it was everything I wanted on paper, but in actuality I think it's making me realize I want to follow a different career path.

I've only been there two-actually three-weeks and I'm already thinking about applying for other positions at different companies. Should I stick it out for awhile for experience or look at pursuing other opportunities?

it'll look good on your resume but don't stay for long and dont get attached to the place and people

that was my sister's problem. She hated the job but her workmates became family so leaving was hard

hm applying for other jobs doesn't necessarily mean you'll get them so try it i guess

but re-check your contract is it set for a specific time frame?

wont you have to pay a fine if you leave before the contract is up?

^ like others have said.

check your contract to see if it's a duration-based contract or an "at will" employment.

its going to take a while for you to find another job anyway, but job searching while having a job is different when you aren't so be careful.

and try to network, do volunteer or part-time jobs in areas where you think you might like before jumping head in first.

no one got their perfect job first time out of college, it's going to take many switches, and even career-wise.
