dvang 23,884 Posted September 8, 2017 Share Posted September 8, 2017 And i am mindblown by how good it was While it was definitely scary and the visuals were great, the best thing is the cast itself and their insane chemistry I only know Finn Wolfhard from Stranger Things but all the child actors were great especially the kid who played Eddie And the clown was creepy as hell and they really went all out with the visuals on the character (there's even a reference to orange lights or deadlights) It also had a lot of great humour especially thanks to Finn's Richie whose dialogue delivery is on another level Definitely a must watch Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really thought finn is going to be overshadowed because he's not the "lead" like in stranger things but he stole the show. I wasn't expecting too much of it since I hardly believed it would screw the original movie that was alright and even more the book (which the original already did) but I am really thinking in giving it a try now. Anyway some people are comparing it to Stranger Things and that worries me because if it's something like that there's no way it's good (not saying Stranger Things is bad but nothing that would fit It or a horror movie, sorry but true). These kids really made the movie, I'm not surprised they did so well, just from the trailers u can tell. I mean, if you haven't then that's understandable. Imo, IT is far more creepier than stranger things. The similar thing they talking about probably the friendship thing, group of losers, and there's bully and stuff, which is also similar with other King's work, stand by me.Stranger things is like science fiction horror things, but IT is not. And Bill's Pennywise far exceeded my expectations, he really made the character his own; I didn't once compare his clown to Tim Curry's. I'm definitely going to watch it again! "Why don't you go blow your dad, you mullet wearing asshole!" "It's gazebos!!!! They're bullshit!!" "And now, you're making me kill this fucking clown." The one liners in this movie are on point!
