Mexican here from Mexico City. It was strong, but there are not many damages being reported as of yet, at least in my city; only a few blown fuses and such.

 

It was scary though; I just grabbed my dog and ran out.

 

Official magnitude is now 8.4.

Mexican, from the center of Mexico.

The tremor was intense and lasted long enough. In my area there is no damage (apparently), but do not wait until tomorrow to see the physical consequences.

The tremor was felt in 15 states of the country (a total of 32). I am really worried about the Gulf area, because it is currently a rainy zone because of the hurricane season.

8.4 and threat of tsunami ...

I'm not sleeping today.
