Kfans have boycotted the History Box (5+ years of Cross Gene's history including various merch to celebrate their 5th anniversary) and so have some J fans. They along with the rest of CandY (and non CandY who are caring enough) are spreading the hashtag on Twitter.

It's not really a Japan issue, since this is pretty common in Korea too (like... Stellar) and it was their Korean management that caused the stir earlier in the year.

It probably is high which is why Amuse is so adamant about it, although the musical isn't popular at all, just an auction type of thing which is again... gross. Taku being the shy guy he is would probably never consent to something like this himself... kissing and hugging strangers. Also his latest Instagram post did nothing, didn't clarify he wanted to do it (which Amuse would push him to do if he actually was okay with it). It had his normal 3 hashtags: Cross Gene, Takuya and Kawaii, nothing extra like he usually puts, no description whatsoever and just a black and white picture of himself with a very meh expression.

The merch isn't the problem, it's the musical. The merch is being boycotted so Amuse lose money as the History Box is expensive and will cost them nearly 17K USD with the amount of orders being refunded right now.

Isn't Amuse one of the huge companies in Japan? Why would they even do this? Why take the risk of doing something like this with as big as they are? Is this even real? So far, I only see this anecdote and nothing official.
