Lai Guanlin has a very strong mentality, even on P101 when he was about to get eliminated, he wasn't shaken. I was so shocked when I watched him, he's still a kid but he's amazing, gotta acknowledge what has to be acknowledged

The more I see him the more he looks like the convicted type, he's very rational and he's also humble. At first, when he still hasn't debuted yet, I didn't really like him, but my opinion about him changed

He had one of the best mentality on P101.. He dropped below top20 and his debut wasn't even confirmed ㅇㅇ He also wasn't that fluent in Korean either, but he's very prudent and has a lot of deep thoughts, I think the general public found him quite alright as a guy and started cheering on him, he's young, handsome and rich.

They're completing their Energetic promotions this week and everyone will return to their agencies to rest, but Guanlin said that he'll be studying Korean by watching the Goblin.. He's a hard worker

What's even more amazing about him on P101 is that he was one of the youngest. But when they could ask a favor to the PD, he didn't even say stuff like "I wanna see my parents" he just said "I want to stand on the stage".Looks like he was very earnest in becoming a singer.

He fly all the way from Taiwan, begin his trainee life not knowing korean, went through PD101 (no explanation needed), and now working his tight schedule, I want to give him a pat in the back. You did well LinLin.

true. i can never hate him because he always work hard. i can really saw his improvement and most importantly his passion in becoming an idol. it also shock me that he can still smile, clapping and congratulate others when he fell to rank 20 during elimination. he was really calm and compose

He really has strong mentality. It's what amaze me about him. Even the P101 staffs when ask who among the 101 trainees have the strongest mentality in an interview they pick Guanlin. They said all trainees get excited when they had high rank while some are heartbroken if they got low rank but Guanlin was never one of those. Despite getting high rank he never get too excited and focus on improving and even when he drop he didn't get too shaken and stay calm. His mentality is awesome. He don't cry easily too.

 

Aside from his mentality, he also have great manners. His parents really raise him well. In the video alone, I'm sure a lot of idols would have followed the MC rapper when he is teaching Guanlin a rap introduction since it was just for variety anyway (and that would be fine) but Guanlin stood his ground and told the MC 'No! That's wrong!'. I really like that about him. He is always honest and sincere. Even when he is being savage at times it's still honest and pure. Fighting Baby Linlin!!

Strong mentalities like this are important if you are a celebrity- I feel that Lai Guan Lin will be able to have a long, healthy celebrity career
