remember Popworld? if you're in or around my age and you watched UK TV programming as a blossoming teen then you can't have missed this legendary show with Simon Amstell and Miquita Oliver

The Guardian: Bring back Popworld: the music show fans loved and celebrities feared (Jan 2016)

here's a good article about it from last year

there's tonnes of other videos on youtube of some their finest moments. I'm taking a trip down memory lane here

I'll never forget this particular interview it was so awkward and funny

god I miss this show. too bad it sucked after Simon and Miquita left and then got cancelled shortly after.

can you imagine if it existed now? and if they interviewed a k-pop group? it would be pandemonium

Simon Amstell on Popworld made my life. He just had a way of making it awkward but entertaining still lmao.

He would he straight up death threats and doxxed off k-pop fans if he did anything like he did to Britney or that guy on NMTB.

it would be a bloodbath lol fans get so offended over relatively minor things today, they would lose their minds over the stuff Popworld did

It would be absolutely glorious, and I would live for the fan reaction. But the idols would be so thrown by it as well, more than all of the western celebs they've freaked out.

That's the guy lmao. I forgot his name. I found it on YouTube again.

lmao I will never forget it

I used to watch NMTB religiously and Simon was the only host who could fill Mark Lamarr's shoes tbh. show went downhill (with a few highlights from the odd guest presenter) after he left, but it was a good run. so many great memories. even now I like to throw on a classic ep when I want to relax, it's great comfort TV
