Royal family shippers can go suck it tbh. This is an actual potential subunit, not some half-assed unit put together to please crazed shippers. Even I ship yoonsic but I wouldn't want yoonyulsic. In no way would their voices or individual skills fit with each other.

because the royal family is a really popular trio and the Sica, Yoon and Yul stans always talk about YoonYuSic as the next subunit. well personally i think it would be such a selfish idea, considering that Hyo, Sun and Soo are the least popular members in SK.

and tbh, YoonYulSic wouldn't work as a subunit.

besides Sica's vocals, she can't dance for shit and she wouldn't be able to  keep up with YoonYul's dancing.

as for YoonYul, well, they're only good at dancing. but Yuri can be a decent singer when she wants. the problem is that she's getting worse when it comes to vocals and she does't really try anymore

that's the thing. They have something in common. Dance and look awesome when doing it. who would've thought HyoYul could just rap and look awesome with no dance? Give them a good song and an awesome choreo and SHY is good to go

In all honesty tho, I know it gets tiring championing something that might not find success, much less exist,

But think about how satisfied you would feel if this unit happens, how happy you'll feel seeing your bias' getting their time to shine and actually enjoying what they do.

I don't know if I've said this before but I think if this subunit were to actually be put together it'd be mainly a dance/performance unit, not a singing one. So instead of a debut song I'd like to see their debut stage look something like this:

I mean they would have to sing or there would be no point. What would they do if it was just dance? There would be no album to buy and music shows would be pointless if they didn't have a song.

 

Soo/Hyo/Yul are all good singers so I don't know why everyone says they're not. Just because they aren't Taeyeon level doesn't make them bad. Hyoyeon is quite good in a lower register. SNSD's songs are all in a higher register because the vocalists can handle it and that's why people misunderstand and think the dance line can't sing. The songs don't need to be that vocally challenging for them to do well. Give them something like I Am or even Twinkling of Paradise and they'll slay.

is the best SNSD special stage ever? Dancing stages are only good for classic variety/music shows like they used to do, for example the legendary Mannequin/Sorry Sorry/Smooth Criminal/Rhythm Nation performances (although I guess they have a little singing, but you get my point.) Don't buy into the false narrative that idols need huge vocal ranges and fully connected head voices or whatever (I don't even know if that's a real thing) to be successful, the quality of the music is far more important.

Thanks! My bias is Yuri, but I adore SooHyo too. I became a sone 4 years ago and last year, those three really stood out to me. When I saw their dance performance together, I was blown away. So learned the dance. lol

 

I'm proud of Yuri especially when she'd receive awards and every time she performs. 

 

SHY just seem to match together, and I'd probably die of happiness if SM would just release their official album. huehue c:
