Introduction:

SNSD's S.H.Y also known as "The People's Subunit" is the second subunit of the South Korean girl group Girls Generation. Short for SooHyoYul, the unit was formed by members Choi "Mother Sooperior" Young, Kim "Specialist H.Y" Hyoyeon and Kwon "Da Pimp" Yuri.

S.H.Y's raw sex appeal, brazen attitude and chic dance style will be attributed to their meteoric rise in popularity after their debut. While their tough, mature and sensual image will do much in separating them from the signature sugary sweet image of their mother group SNSD, it will be a constant source of controversy and sensationalism for the three strong women .

S.H.Y can also pull off a fun, funky, retro style as seen with their rendition of "Push It" at SNSD's Phantasia Tour!!!

Either way, S.H.Y will have considerable input into their image.

Influences: Lee Hyori, Cheetah(UR), SooHyoYulYoong-Mannequin, Ga-in's Bloom, Kill Bill (The Movie)

Styling

Styling will match their image: edgy, sexy yet mature and chic. Should encompass the different styles that the ladies have and want to showcase, but in a natural, cohesive manner. Nothing gaudy or contrived . Makeup can be on the darker side. Again, the ladies must also have substantial input into their styling.

Musical Style:

S.H.Y will rise in popularity with their distinct high energy club bangers. A signature Hip-Hop/Pop sound will lend to the highly choreographed performances they will also gain acclaim for. The group will also have a clear R&B/Jazz influence in easy ballads that highlight their eclectic and sultry vocal colors. Again, S.H.Y will have considerable input into their music.

The #SHY2016 Fan Project was created to spread news about the SNSD subunit S.H.Y (SooHyoYul) in preparation for their approaching debut. We are currently making a mock fan album for SHY with teasers for each of the ladies. Please Anticipate!!

Isnt Jessica one of the original bad bitches trifecta with Sooyoung and Hyoyeon. They even bullied Yuri at that point. Yuri is a bad bitch too tho. But Slaysica should be in the sub unit tbh.

 

I mean look at my sig.

 

 

Jessica would have been spot on for this subunit in terms of attitude, but she is one of the more popular members with a girly/girl next door image, despite being the "ice princess". I doubt SM would put that image at risk with her being a main cashcow.

 

PLUS, Jessica would have to dance her ass off in this subunit, and shes showed many times how opposed she is to the idea of exerting too much energy.

I wouldn't mind Jessica being in a unit with SHY, because thats just more recognition and sales for the group and she has good chemistry with the members. But lets be clear on one thing, a vocalist isn't needed in a subunit, and especially in a dance one, for it to work.

I am. Since this is a group that doesn't exist (yet  ) it would probably fall under the OTP custom requests, but I don't think they allow OTP badges for any more than two people. You may want to post in the ask a mod thread to make sure it's even possible before going through with the logistics of requesting.

Will do, but ill wait a while. The mods are probably tired of me badgering them.

I think we can apply for an OTP. Someone previously posted that they asked the mods about that and they said its fine. There's a badge for an OT3 ship already.
