actually the last time I went drinking with a bunch of guy friends this new guy I just met got drunk and pecked his longtime friend on the cheek, and his buddies said he does it all the time lol. so it can happen in North America, but I don't think it's American style Junhyungie

 

the sleeve thing... I actually didn't notice when I was watching the show. Dongwoon, if you're gonna do that, don't clap using that hand lol. Gikwang's jacket disappeared halfway though, I wonder if the staff confiscated it from the kids :P

yeah I think that Yangaengi question was basically asking compared to seob what's Yanggaengi better in. Looks like Yanggaengi also has a fancafe with around 5000 members

i know the show is scripted but damn Beast puts on a really entertaining show. One of the things I watched again was when 2junkwang were arguing before the question and answer portion happened. Dookwang were like literally shouting at each other. OMG and I think it really helped that they decided to talk informally the whole time.

Yep, Yanggaengi's aegyo seems to be superior~ I'm not sure about the boxing bit though, I guess that's above my level : )

 

The last question, I think you're right that it's what do fans want to see on the show. I think I saw it translated somewhere, maybe it's buried in the main beast thread. They def discussed the 2jun abs answer at length but in the end I don't think it was the right answer, but I forget what it was in the end. I remember one of the other options was seeing the members enter the water...

 

Totally agreed, I want to see them drink beer and relax. I'm pretty sure they're allowed to drink on tv

 

And Dookwang really did full on yell at each other. I feel like so far I've gotten everything I've wanted with this show. I thought the informal speech thing was funny. I was thinking, "Don't you guys remember speaking informally to each other on like every other variety show ever?" Gikwang's exasperated "hey pay attn to me" clapping even came out lol

 

Well he's my bias yeah he probably was. He was laughing the entire time though, I hope he's more hyper in ep 2 since I miss hyper Yoseob and I also want some Junseob moments this ep was full of 2Jun haha

I think I read a comment on YT thought that they were mentioning a business name and you know how that's not allowed on broadcast or something so that's why they bleeped it.

I had the thought that they were swearing at first too and I was like wtf? But I bet it was the Sauna's name or location? Probably they don't want 03584034985 b2utys turning up at that sauna suddenly to see where beast used to play

it's good to see articles like that Junhyung article. It would be awesome if he suddenly became a trend because of this. Though I guess that's a bit unlikely since it's not on the main MBC channel

 

but I couldn't help thinking, yep, tell me something I don't know. This side of Junhyung has been obvious to fans for quite awhile, thinking back to things like idol maid where he honestly talked about the members' personalities or win win where he was so honest about his past he ended up in a lawsuit

edit: @denalichen I'm pretty sure that ver is the only existing one rn. I checked pretty hard about 12 hrs ago though so maybe there's something new. A couple of the parts I really didn't understand happened to be the parts that weren't subbed damn. Like the back of the car thing. The subject is definitely variety shows and probably being funny or doing well but I can't understand anything else.

I tried giving up on waiting and watch it work, but my phone won't charge. I'm out of luck. Btw I feel like I should introduce myself, you're all official Beast fans haha. I've been a fan of Beast since the end of 2011 thanks to Fiction. Looked up their other songs, loved them. Then looked up their shows, loved the members. They're pretty special to me, they're the second boy group I stan and got me back into kpop after the DBSK break up. Sorry I'm doing this here, I was kinda intimidated about going to the official thread

I have no authority to welcome you or anything, I'm new too and you've been into beast for like a half year longer than me, but I just wanted to say don't feel intimidated if you'd like to participate in the main thread. I recently started hanging around there and everyone gave a really nice welcome and they don't care too much about how long you've been around. The longtime people that are in more organizing roles are all so chill and reply to everyone and stuff. I like the atmosphere in general on OH but beast thread is def a good place~

 

Who's your fav beast member? And yeah, I came into kpop originally as a DBSK fan around early 2008, the break up sucked ><

Thank you! I tend to have a hard time joining forums so I'm usually a silent reader, but one of my bias is finally back and I decided to support her. Yeah, when I stalk the Beast thread they seem like a big family already so I have doubts about posting there, but I'll give it a try now ^^

 

My bias is Yoseob at first he reminded me of Junsu because of how cute, talented he is, but their personalities are so different lol. I assume your bias is Kikwang?

Same here, they got me into kpop in 2007 and were the only group I followed back then. I'm just glad they all seem happy and doing well now.

 

 

 

I know what you mean about forums, I find them kind of annoying to use and a bit intimidating actually. I lurked here and there on OH for like 4 months before I decided to come here regularly. The atmosphere seems really chill in the threads of the groups I like.

 

Yoseob biased, awesome! There's a shortage of people talking up Yoseob around here. I can see the Junsu comparison too, cute sporty guys with good vocals. In DBSK land I'm Junsu and JJ biased. I'm glad they've all moved on well now too. I'm definitely a hopeless GK fan rn as you obv already noticed. His dance style and taste in music are completely my style, so I might be stuck on him for a while yet lol.

I did the same! I was stalking until I divided to make a thread for Liyin (the one in my sig, though since you like DBSK you might know her. Junsu is my fav too! That's why when I saw Yoseob and thought they were similar I thought I found my new Junsu lol but actually I find Kikwang and Junsu similar in personality. They're both pretty innocent, sweet, love soccer, they're kinda gullible too; no wonder they're good friends. What do you think?

 

There aren't many Yoseob fans?! I see Junhyung getting a lot of love :P

I can see what you're saying about Junsu and Gikwang too, they can both play up their idiot sides for laughs, cute, sporty, sexy dancers, cute laughter and it's definitely a plus for me if my bias is into soccer. I guess this explains why I like both a lot lol

objectively speaking, it wasn't as funny as the first episode, but as a fan I really had fun watching them do normal stuff. Chatty Gikwang really came out lol and the last 10 min totally made me laugh. They probably should've spent a little less time on Doojoon and Junhyung before everyone showed up but I guess they're thinking Hyungnim is cute so show more of him? I feel like there was a lot of cute normal Dooleader being Dooleader, but idk if the general public are gonna care about that basically

 

Anyway I'm happy and next week looks interesting too, why is Doojoon stuffing his face by himself? I hope it's some kind of challenge

Yeah I think Junhyung might've dished something a little embarrassing at the end but I didn't catch enough to try to take a guess at what it is here. Not about himself but some of the other guys. Though if I'm right it should show up on twitter anyway pretty soon like the colourblind thing did.

 

Poor diet Kiwoon, I remember that from idol maid too but I forget if it was both of them or not. Gikwang's pretty much always dieting, it's clear he's the loving food gaining weight type. I'm glad he got smart about the low sodium thing though.

 

Dongwoon's unrequited love lol. I couldn't really tell if he was doing it to troll Junhyung or if he was half serious or what. And the whole time I was thinking I wish we had a store like that in my city.

Junhyung complained that when they had the bunk beds in their old dorm, Hyunseung and Gikwang, who were sleeping next to him, used to come close to both of his sides and cling to him. He would often wake up in the middle of the night and see Gikwang hugging his arm. If GK was hugging JH, I wonder what Hyunseung was doing during that time, lol.

Lolllllllll I forgot about this already. Who the hell vaccuums their electeonic devices. I cracked up at work at this part.

 

 

I thought they were totally awkward.  What's wrong with them?    Then Hyunseung put the bags on the floor - I was like waat? 

 

 

It wasn't as funny as the first and I'm not sure it was as well-planned.  I didn't think the entire ep would be at Junhyung's home but I'm not complaining.    For some reason I liked seeing his dish rack.  The domesticity just made this episode go a bit slower.

 

 

I noticed the ship sailing.  That was so cute. 

 

I miss Seob too, but at least his dog is loyal. LOL.  Poor Junnie's is so fickle!  Did you notice Doojoon playing with Yoseob's hair?

I think I liked the domesticity so I didnt find it boring. Basically as a fan I loved it because it felt the same as chillin with friends except it was beast on TV. After watching I wanted to call my friends and go visit their place too. But I wonder if non fans would react like that or just think it's boring.

 

Seeing hyungnim made me want to see Gikwangs dog too. Maybe she'll show up on insta again later on
