I'm not sure if this is the right section lol

Featuring contributions from Kid Mero, Jude Law and acclaimed anime director, Kazuhiro Furuhashi.

In case the life and times of Jaden Smith didn’t already seem cartoonish enough, the heir to Bel Air has teamed up with Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig for a new anime series that’s premiering on Netflix later this month.

Initially teased all the way back in 2015, Neo Yokio stars Smith as a pink-haired, demon-slaying lead in “the greatest city in the world,†a fictional locale that blends the best of New York and Tokio. Created by Koenig, the series is developed with Studio Deen and famed director Kazuhiro Furuhashi (Ranma 1/2Rurouni Kenshin and more) with contributions from VICELAND’s Kid Mero and Jude Law, who voices a butler for Smith’s character. Details on the series are still scarce, but with a premiere date of September 22nd, it won’t be long before the blanks are filled in.

For now, you can refer to the show’s Instagram page for stills and short clips from Neo Yokio. Whether a score can be expected remains to be seen (or heard,) but between Smith and Koenig, the show could have its pick of top-tier talents.
