BoA's albums were also multiple million sellers. Japan has the single culture too and she did an endless stream of CMs and OSTs in Japan during her peak. I always say the money for Hallyu is ALWAYS, ALWAYS from overseas. Korean relevance is good for post-peak careers but the money is always from overseas relevance and marketability.
