Universal Studios in Osaka and Singapore

has anyone here been to both of them?

i'm going to the osaka one next year and now that i'm going to visit singapore in december i wonder is it worth it to go to the one that's there as well? do they have different stuff?

i know it's bigger in osaka, but since i don't speak japanese is there something i would get more out of the experience in singapore?

asking because if it's better altogether in osaka then i probably should spend the time doing something else in singapore :>

I've only been to the Osaka one, but honestly not knowing Japanese won't be an issue. it's a theme park so they're used to having foreign guests, everything is in multiple languages

also idk about Singapore but Osaka USJ has the Harry Potter section, worth it just for that imo

Japan's has Harry Potter World, which is fucking amazing. It has my favourite ride which is this 4D rollercoaster kinda thing which simulates you flying on a broom. And of course all the shops and the Butterbeer.

Idk about Singapore but I'll always go for Japan. You don't need to know the language lol there's Eng.

EDIT: came back because OP I also wanted to say your name is so intriguing lol I love it; one of my favourites on OH~

RIP I edited my post too late lol, I wanted to say that I really like your name^^

Hmm really? My memory is horrible (went around 2-3 years ago) and I don't want to mislead you so let's put it this way; you don't need to know Japanese and you'll still be able to get around to visit everything fine. Sound effects and stuff WILL probably be in Jap tho D: now that I think of it.

Idk man, I'm looking through my photos rn and all the shop signs are in Eng, so was the writing on my cup of lemonade, so are the rides, so are all the products e.g. butter beer, pumpkin juice, sweets, etc. I feel like such a big foreign tourist attraction couldn't all just be in Japanese, but I can't be sure I guess.

i saw it, thank you :')<3

i've been to tokyo disneyland before and i had a lot of fun even though some things were in japanese so i don't mind it really, maybe the one who warned about it is used to everything being in english lol

the singapore one's pretty fun for the first time i'd say :3

the most important thing is to be there early and go for the more popular ones first like battlestar galactica and transformers (the waiting time can become 50min like 30mins after the park opens!)

anyways you can probably finish all rides in one day, if you plan strategically :3

i go there a lot so yep! hope it helps :3

Singapore's USS is fun but smaller than others, it's like the size of disneyland hongkong i guess? or a bit smaller but it has fun roller coaster so i think it'll be worth it smile.png

would you say it's small enough that you'd have time to do something else the same day? :)

probably? sometimes i'm kinda done by 3ish?

hehe but that's because i have my ways around the park :p

i would say best case scenario you can finish earliest around 5? depending on crowd

like there might be some rides that aren't your type so you won't take it :D

anyways feel free to pm me if you have more questions eeheheheheh i go uss too often

Definitely! depending on the queue, if it's not too crowded i guess you would be done around 3-4 pm and after that you can enjoy the sunset around sentosa and grab some nice dinner outsideahmagahplz.png
