I never read the fantastic 4 comics so I can't compare Alba's performance to anything. I thought it was decent enough. 

 

I also thought Halle Berry did a good job with Storm... until I started reading the X-men comics lol. I still enjoy the former's performances in the movies unlike everyone else, but she definitely did not do her comic persona justice.
