'Manhole' crowned the Korean drama w/ the lowest ratings of ALL TIME

- A drama starring JYJ's Kim Jaejoong playing a man who can travel between past and present to stop his dream woman's wedding (played by UEE).


- According to Nielsen, its August 31st broadcast recorded 1.4% nationwide ratings, making it the lowest ratings for a TV drama on National TV ever.


- The previous record-holder was another KBS 2TV drama named 'Foolish Love' with 1.8% ratings from its June 27, 2000 broadcast.

The sound of the $$ ringing for this production matters most and needed for Kr Drama Industry which is going downhill eversince

Neither are respected as actors. The public are more likely to watch unknown rookie actors than Uee and Jaejoong

For the matter the whole drama industry in Korea right now.They realiszed that they lost a lot of good seasoned actors/actresses like past years quality productions where most idols actors are not even considered for lead roles,

I personally wouldn't watch a drama with this premise.

But the name is funny so I'd probably end up checking out the first episode :lol:

Jaejoong's character pissed me off so much in the first episode that I didn't want to continue watching, even if I like Jaejoong. I know that in kdramas guys who get "friendzoned" usually get all pissy/upset about it but Jaejoong's character was like a whole different level. I've seen him in Protect the Boss, Triangle, and Spy and I liked his characters in PTB and Triangle more.
