idk, i mean, language evolves. if society decides that a term's usage can be changed, then so be it. we don't need holier than thou people to try and stop change just because it's not "right". as long as we understand each other then there should be no problem.

Vestiges of when music used to come on vinyl, I suppose. I remember when I first got into kpop I was confused at the term "title track", and how it didn't necessarily correspond to the track sharing a name with the album it was on
