KNETZ talk about why BTS fandom has barely any akgae fans

there are obviously solo stans but compared to groups from sm or wanna one, they don't have as many.  so on a whole, bts fandom is pretty all-fan.  and i think it's because they put an emphasis on their friendship and they put the group and their teamwork before themselves as individuals.

some of yall aren't even reading the tweet.  they aren't saying that there are no akgaes..

Maybe because not many of them have gotten a ton of solo activities? Individual fans start showing their faces once only a few members start getting pushed into solo activities.

it's also interesting because the lack of solo stuff is also the choice of the members (pretty rare for a k-pop group, I know)

V had that acting opportunity, but he's expressed a lot after that he enjoys being onstage with the boys and even wants to travel more with them. He also said the legendary line of loving all 7 members equally.

Jimin says he still wants to keep working with his members (when asked about his goals) and his dream collabs are also with his members (Yoongi).  Keeps saying this even when he is fully aware he's probably one of the top stan attractors in the group. Also known as the best fansite master of all 6 boys, the material he has in his phone of the group would put any fansite-nim to shame. He could very well demand a solo now but he isn't.

Jin says he wants to work with them in the next 20 more years. I've caught Jin twice in two separate videos saying how he feels something is amiss when he does activities without his members. He even says he feels that way when they're on vacation and he meets up with regular friends and family on his own.

Namjoon says he'll do Bangtan over a solo.

Yoongi was just going all emo in the recent Bon Voyage on how he wants to keep making music together with them till they're old.

Hobi says that everything he does is for the team.

Jungkook says he is always motivated and looks at the back of his hyungs.

It's not as if the boys can't do solo activities. Rapline has always been requested to do something of their own, same with vocal line and maknae-line (the stan attractors) , Bang PD even encourages the boys doing covers and collabs, but the OT7 spirit is just too strong even amongst the kids themselves.

lol that's not what I see. The comment section of their youtube vids are always full of infandom fighting.

pann post is obviously talking about the kfandom pov. also it also implies it's rare, they obviously named notorious army akgaes as well (but they are a rarity)

I guess it's good that none of the people in those comments seem to remember the Creamsoda incident lol. There are some truly messy akgaes, but the fact that it becomes a well-known issue when it happens says how rare they are. Which is what makes BTS special.

That being said, BTS has...a bit of a solo stan problem when you hang out in the wrong places (stan twitter). It's normal to hype your bias up in various ways, but straight up hating on other members is a no. The thing is, it's really not as big of a problem as you would expect with a fandom as big as BTS. So this post isn't wrong.

The way BTS is with each other makes it impossible not to like the other members. One will bring you in, but they're like brothers and falling for all of them is like falling down a hole.

easy. maknae line draw most of armys in and ot7 made them stay

there used to be a lot more individual stans back in 2015-2016 but now not so much. even if we see the increase of them it's because the fandom is growing in a super rapid speed and new fans need time to welcome ot7 fully. for a fandom as big as armys, things like akgae is mostly expected, and there were messy stans, yes, but it's not that much of a concern if you look at the big picture, if you compare to other fandoms with similar size.

Yup, the post talks about how akgae fans are rare, not non-existent.
