His name is Bill SkarsgÃ¥rd, a 27 year old Swedish actor. You might know his brother, Alexander, whom is famous for playing Eric in the HBO True Blood series, and Tarzan in 'The Legend of Tarzan'. Bill has also played in Netflix's Hemlock Grove.

 

It's weird to think that this guy is playing Pennywise. But it's true. Maybe we can all remind ourselves how good-looking he is when we force ourselves to watch a creepy ass clown movie next weekend..

When I was really young, I saw an adaptation of this movie, not sure if this remake will be a winner....since remakes have a questionable reputation

This isn't a remake. It's the adaption of the novel. The mini-series was trash, and didn't follow the book. Tim Curry was good though.

 

And I doubt it's going to be anything "questionable" it has 35 million views on a teaser trailer, and the critics are saying it's going to be a horror classic.

truth be told, I don't see this following the book totally either. The book had weirdly explicit parts, like all the boys taking turns having sex with the girl in their group.

Stephen King had it coming. Who WOULD follow that? amgplz.png

 

Oh and Stephen said that he didn't "realize how good this movie was". He saw two screenings of it.. so my hopes are high.

early reviews said the movie was good- high hopes. 

 

Also- I knew I recognized him! (Hemlock Grove, which you wrote but I managed to remember him before I got to that part lol I only saw season 1 though so...)
