You can expect decent horror films from Thailand, although their Bangkok Haunted Series (I watched 1-3) didn't meet my standards. I want to recommend Japanese horror manga. Try Junji Ito. Complete boredom-killer. Expect some chills too. There is a channel in YouTube that narrates his stories simultaneously with the manga panels, and creepy mood-music of course.
