MTV 81 caught up with E-Girls leading crew Dream, fresh off their debut full-length “Lesson 1″ with E-girls, and in the run-up to the release of their latest single as Dream, “Only You,†at their homebase of Avex HQ in Tokyo.
 
In this exclusive interview, the girls talk about their years in school taking dance classes (while watching MTV), their cover song “The Never Ending Story,†and their dreams as one of Japan’s fastest rising girl-groups.

Thanks for posting that... but as I was watching, the vid started messing up, like real bad. Wtf is going on?! I think it might be my crap internet connection but I'm not sure...

I think it might be your internet because I didn't have a problem when I was watching it.

 

 

About the interview, it's nice to know that the girls read the comments and feedback on their videos. Not many artists do that! And the thought that went into The Never Ending Story is more than I realized. It certainly did get them attention. Lots of people love the original song.

Ami and Aya was on yesterday's Mechaike. I really like Ami's hairstyle, she looks really cute. And Aya was really nice helping the kids with the count, they really wanted the kids to win, especially because Kato was so evil.

I recommend their Hands Up album^^ :)) I have this feeling that the songs u heard came from that album..

Thanks Mich I will check it out. What is Dream's "genre" of music though?

well most of the music i've listened to from them is dance/electro/pop music. it's hard to find their older stuff now so i can't say much about what they used to do back then....

 

i think it's easier if i post a few of their songs here to explain

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

and then there's their newest single Only You which u can find in the OP, and that one's slightly cuter than their previous stuff
