Get into a system where you actually develop good note-taking skills, so you can manage your classes better. Since once you are able to sort out your information, you'll be able to balance everything better. 5 classes can be daunting, but you can do it!

Or you could always sleep with your prof0Zja5BR.png

Make a weekly HW schedule. Divide your assignments with enough time to complete them and more importantly STICK to your schedule, because it will take off a giant load of stress. If you have a particularly difficult class, make friends with other students and form study groups. Ask them questions. Professors are usually the last resort. Make sure you leave some time to do things you enjoy. This helps greatly with stress. Eat all your meals. Don't stay up too late. Sleep is important. Challenge yourself if something seems too easy. Sometimes a class IS easy and you start coasting and before you know it, your effort levels drops and you end up with a B+ instead of an A or A-. Never assume you're guaranteed an A. Put in the little extra effort to get the work right. Trust me, it pays off.

I have no references other than that my lowest grade last semester was an A-. I also took 5 courses.

review what you did last year that might have caused your gpa to drop. see where you can improve

it's already been said but definitely manage your time well. make sure you work on any big/difficult assignments early. keep in contact with your classmates in case you miss anything. If your professors offer review sessions or any extra help, take advantage of it. and if you're anything like me, make adequate sleep a high priority. the less sleep I get, the worse I perform.
