How Nice 1,661 Posted August 27, 2017 Share Posted August 27, 2017 YES!!!! For me its an 8/10- if I have time to actually ponder it (aka take home) it lowers down to a 7/10. But usually I have to do my essays in class and things get way harder, luckily for myself I've always been a hell of a good writer and manage to make up for my rather weak thesis with strong paragraphs~ Good luck though ^^ Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I can say, for me, it was a 8/10 but I did a subject that required a metric ton of data collection. The best advice I can give is to schedule a meeting with your prof during their office hours and talk about your thesis. Usually they're more than happy to give a nudge in the right direction. Since I took up computer science, not only did we have to come up with a topic that is "unique" for a consumer, we also had to reason out why we used these design principles, programming language, database design, yada yada and also provide a working system for a company as the final output. in good taste 213 Posted August 30, 2017 Share Posted August 30, 2017 maybe like an 9/10. The data collecting, STATISTICS, analysis + the stress drove me up the wall. I lost so much weight because of the stress (and I'm already a lightweight). However I was also putting up with my partner who made things difficult for the both of us, I had no choice but to talk to my professor about it and I ultimately dropped her in the end. But my problem was being very desperate about it. Many things went wrong and it's pretty normal but stressful too. I only went on because my adviser teacher was very cool and in sink with me and my project. Don't precipitate things because of fear as I did, it will make things way easier. Pick a theme you like and if you can choose the teacher to guide you study them a lot to make the right choice, it's very helpful to have someone you can really count on during this time (and unfortunately many teachers fail in that). If you have no idea you can talk with some teachers to give you a start, they usually have nice ideas to share, but talk to the nice ones please. I can't tell you it will be always easy though. I think everyone faces some hardships while doing a thesis but it's very rewarding and you end up growing a lot. Have in mind you can do it!
