Teru 22,363 Posted March 23, 2014 Share Posted March 23, 2014 I named myself after this guy as a joke for my "internet alias" over 13 years ago (when, if you owned sites or domains, changing your name constantly was a bit of a trend): and it just stuck, I feel like it's my name now I'm so used to it, people call me it all the time even irl now. I actually stopped using it several years ago and decided to just go by my actual name, but people started calling me it years after I actually used it intentionally because it's been my livejournal username for so long that people just took to it naturally when I started reusing that account. it's very similar to my real name anyway so I embraced it.
