lol Inoo with silver hair I so wanna see that. A lot of Johnny’s have gone to kattuns concerts behind hey say jump is sixtones, abc-zs Sakumoto was there too also Arashis Sakurai and Matsujun we’re there too and Nino went alone to the first concert.

Hey! Say! JUMP appointed as Miyagi tourism ambassadors

 

 

Hey! Say! JUMP are appointed as tourism ambassadors for Miyagi Prefecture and on the 23rd, the group held a “Miyagi Prefecture × Hey! Say! JUMP Tourism Campaign†press conference. Member Yaotome Hikaru, who hails from Miyagi, shared his thoughts on the reconstruction efforts since the Tohoku disaster and his role as a PR ambassador.

A dedicated official site and Youtube account were opened for the campaign. A 4 and a half minute PR video “Hey! Say! JUMP Natsu Tabi Migayi†featuring the group and the scenic spots of Miyagi Prefecture were released. Watch the video and catch some member quirks such as Inoo Kei and Yaotome Hikaru with cats and Okamoto Keito speaking English. This will only be the start of the several projects planned for the said campaign, which will also include guide book distribution, poster and video ads in Tokyo metro, Yamanote line ads, smartphone stamp rally etc.

At the press conference, a presentation tournament was held and the group was divided into 4 teams representing 4 areas in Miyagi: Sanriku, Sendai/ Matsushima, Kennan, and Kenpoku. Judged by Miyagi Governor Murai Yoshihiro, the tandem of Yamada Ryosuke and Chinen Yuri won and they were presented with “date masayumeâ€, rice produce from Miyagi. A dialect quiz was also  held moderated by member Yaotome.

GEM and Johnny & Associates to bring ‘Hey! Say! JUMP’ to Hong Kong

 

Entertainment channel GEM will once again set to broadcast Nippon TV’s highly anticipated music event, “THE MUSIC DAY Songs for You†this July.

 

 

This year’s “THE MUSIC DAY Songs for You †will air on GEM this July 7, Saturday from 4:40pm-10:00pm live from Japan. A stunning line-up of Japan’s hottest artist will perform live in this year’s 5-hour music event which includes Little Glee Monsters, Perfume, Daichi Miura, Hitomi, Nogizaka 46, Sekai No Owari, Exile and many more. The event will be hosted by Sho Sakurai from Japanese boyband group ARASHI.

 

Furthermore, GEM has announced their partnership with Japan’s talent agency, Johnny & Associates, to bring the Japanese boy group Hey! Say! JUMP to Hong Kong to perform live as part of event’s line-up.

Keito to take a break from Hey! Say! JUMP to study in the US by September

 

It was announced that Hey! Say! JUMP’s Okamoto Keito will be studying abroad in the U.S. by September. He will be back to Hey! Say! JUMP after finishing his studies. The announcement was made by the group via a recorded video message for fanclub members at the official site at 10pm, Saturday.

 

In the video comment, Okamoto said he decided to attend the American Academy of Dramatic Arts (New York). In regards to his return, he says “I will study hard in order to show everyone my growth. I will definitely return to Hey! Say! JUMPâ€. Since he will be returning to the group, the members accepted his decision to study abroad. Yabu Kota says “I hope everyone will be waiting together with us for Keito.â€

 

The group announced the other day a new single titled “COSMIC ☆ HUMAN†to be released on August 1. The single promotions will be performed by 9 members. This will include the announced live performance relay from Hong Kong for MUSIC DAY on July 7. This year’s concert tour, which is still not officially announced, will be performed by 8 members.

 

2 hours prior to the announcement, an email notification was sent to FC members that an announcement will be made at 10pm. Following the tabloid rumor that Okamoto is leaving, the notice naturally made a lot of fans anxious. Few months ago, it was revealed that Okamoto dropped out of Sophia University.

Takaki will be a regular on "Tokoro san no gakkou de ha oshiete kurenai sokontoroko" starting 7/20. It will be his first regular appearance on a golden time show. Congrats Takaki!
