ACCURATE 10000xxx

The sweating after stepping out of the shower part is accurate, I gotta shower at least thrice a day

Also the humidity made me want to swear. The sand on the beaches were hot af but the views were glorious so...

Philippines temperature only ranges from warm - hell! I want to put on nice jackets and layer up, but I'll end up sweating a bucket.

I'm surprised though that they think it's expensive here, especially considering that BTS are from Korea. From what I see in Korean variety shows, things here are cheaper than in Korea. You can have a pretty good meal here for around $4-$5, and things are usually cheap. It's probably expensive in Coron though, since it's a tourist destination and it's kind of an isolated island.

Was recently in Palawan so I can share my thoughts...

Things were pricey af. I bought a small shampoo bottle worth 300 pesos. A coke drink for 70 pesos. They maximise the tourist places like Coron and El Nido. There were frequent blackouts and wifi was almost non existent. But it was a really beautiful place if you only wanted to sign out of reality for a while and ponder/reflect. The lack of technology and city comforts can really make you sit down and free your stresses.

A lot of things in Korea are actually cheap. You can get a pretty decent meal for 200-300 pesos.

It's hot af even if it rains every other day. I also shower 3 times a day. I'm poor, no AC, so i sleep while my window is wide open to let the cool air in.

No AC

We kept the AC running even if we left our hotel rooms just to ensure we had a cool room to return to!

How do you survive?

yep, they want to rip off every penny they can get off of foreigners from better off countries, which is understandable since the philippines is a poverty stricken country.

humidity+hot makes people angry X___X

I guess that's the trade-off that we have to do if we choose to enjoy nature. BUT those prices though!!! A small shampoo bottle should only be around 100-150 and a code drink would usually be only 20-35 (depending on the size). What a rip-off!!!
