Why do K-Pop fans love downplaying Jungkook a lot?

But frankly in the current K-Pop scene, he is probably one of the most well rounded idols? His vocals aren't Chen, Changsub, Eunkwang levels of musicality but his dancing is definitely in the upper tier of Current K-Pop. The fact JK is even at his current level is nothing short of a miracle, when it's obvious he is an idol who mostly relies on intuition than training. I imagine Big Hit getting a legit vocal trainer will do him wonders (he may not be the best, but he has one of the most versatile pop friendly voices in K-Pop) and his stage presence has improved leaps and bounds thanks to the Wings tour.

 

JK also knows how to work and project in front of a camera (imho this is a strength of BTS maknae line in general hence why they get the new fans on YouTube) and his visuals actually stand out against other idols (see ISAC). I actually don't know any idol his age who is as well rounded as him: stan attractor, can sing, can dance, can rap, has an actual personality that seems more human than idol, picking up English at an astounding rate, good at stuff that calls for his motor skills etc

He would be considered god tier if he was in SM or EXO.

I think he's very multi talented. When I first seen him during No More Dream, even then he seemed like he could do it all. His voice is pleasant, he's a decent rapper and he's a good dancer.

 

Anticipating that first solo album!

I'm confused as well, but I guess they all focus on the negative and completely ignore everything else. If you wanna invalidate all his good points, just talk about his vocals/visuals and then compare the rest of his skills to other more skilled idols. Jungkook is being made to compete with all the other idols to be considered the best when for me one of his good points is that he's well-rounded and is really good in a lot of different areas even if he's not the best.

 

His 'bad vocals' aren't enough to turn off new fans and his visuals are considered really good anyway.

Some OHers think a lot of good-looking people in kpop are ugly.

What idg is that Sm has been around for about 30 years and has been the top idol company for a long time. They can afford the best vocal coaches. The way their stans brag about their vocals, you'd think everyone would be on Kyuhyun's lvl. Esp. their idols who've trained for 5 - 10 or been in the industry for a long time.

I think a lot of hate comes from the fact that he is popular and there really isn't anything to drag him for 

 

He has never done anything problematic, his vocal tone is pleasant, his dancing is very clean and precise, he can rap, he is obviously a very hard worker, he is attractive and he is charming. 

People don't have a solid reason to hate him honestly so they usually make up something or just bandwagon hate

BH has invested in Kook and for good reason. People can say whatever they want but he's clearly an important part of BTS' success. I love the way his vocal style pairs with the rap line, and I can't imagine other vocal lines working as well or distinctively.
