Isn't it common nowadays for k-pop songs to be played on the radio regardless of what country (as long as it's popular)? Sometimes fans can request it.

no...not really

Even in Morocco, the radio wouldn't play kpop so imagine one of the biggest radio stations in the bay area playing bts!

Edit: I feel like I used the wrong word lol, by "even in morocco" I meant "In Morocco as well" and Morocco can't even compare with the US market ^^ so Imagine the US

Not at all. U.S. pop stations usually have a playlist of 10 popular songs that they play on a loop 24/7. Kpop is a rarity.

Ah, I see. In my country, I often hear k-pop songs on the radio. I don't know anything about American radio. ohdearplz.png

What... aren't Americans sick 10 songs on loop? Imagine Despacito on loop. Oh god.

Despacito is being played everywhere no matter the country 24/7 and I'm sick of it.

It's top 40. Pop music radio stations play the billboard 100 top 40 and that's pretty much it. There's a lot of non-pop radio stations though.

BTS was played on a top 40 pop station in San Francisco. These stations pretty much never deviate from the list and have never played any kpop (except maybe Gangnam Style in 2012 - I heard it a couple of times back then, but not very much).

nvm

i want to be nice today

wtf they just asked a question calm down. did you read the whole thread through?

But I was sincerely asking a question, though? What does iKON have to do with this? Because in my country, K-pop on radio is normal. ARMYs like you are the reason why ARMYs have a bad image. Good luck with your life~ BTS don't deserve a fan like you. hoplz.png

cry me a river.

obviously I changed my comment when I read the whole thread but you were to fast for your own good.

Too bad, I read it. My question wasn't even attacking. Why are you so easily pressed? Among all the people who answered me, you're the only who was pressed. At least some ARMYs give me hope, unlike you. dave.png
