PANN: The Rise of WINNER

Title: The Idol who were considered to be in crisis by everyone but came back with a mega hit composed by one of their own.

is WINNER

When a main vocalist who consisted quite a big pie of the team left, they had to push comeback, which could have been done immediately at the time, for 1 year (said by one of the members) and for a while loads of articles poured out describing WINNER as in crisis, saying that even if they do come back, it won't be able to surpass the debut title Empty, that is their limit ~~ etc.

During their yet another hiatus, they were not given a chance to work with foreign composers or pushed, and instead KANGSEUNGYOON himself alone composed a hit song like REALLY REALLY
and WINNER made it to No.1 on music charts, they are the only boy group to have more than 2 million listeners, and aiming for being one of top 10 songs of the year while being a boy band (it is not at all often that a boy group song is in the 10 most listened to songs of the year).

Even at this moment, REALLY REALLY is in the mid-high range of the charts.

Yang Hyunsuk even posted a congratulations post for WINNER's win on music shows
And apparently had posted WINNER's music chart records from in and outside Korea on the group chat with WINNER and expressed how happy he is lol.

Yang Hyunsuk took WINNER to a place where he himself makes reservations every month and had dinner together, a sign WINNER became to be adored by YHS in a moment's time.

You can just tell by listening to the song how much dogged determination went into coming to where they are now and the quality of the song is daebak(amazing) Don't think there are people who haven't heard of Neol Jo-ah-hae (I like you) haha.

Hope they become more more more more successful

Ending the post with gif for this new release LOVE ME LOVE ME ~~

1. (+242, -5) Reason why REALLY REALLY is ages hit: WINNER is the O!N!L!Y!!!! boy group to have more than 2 million listeners on melon after BIGBANG and the ONLY !! boy group to have more than 2 million listeners THIS YEAR!!!

2. (+226, -0) It was so desperate for them as each and every member had went through so much hardships. KANGSEUNGYOON appeared on SuperStarK at his age 17 and rose to fame with Instinctively, but received so much hate as much as he became famous when he was only in 10th grade and became a YG trainee after refusing all the companies that offered huge amount of money and promises of superstar fame. SONGMINHO was training for BlockB, but Cho PD made him do his chores and manual labor jobs with a piece of bread for meal. After enduring a long period of such treatment, he became a YG trainee by unanimous consent at his audition. LEESEUNGHOON received so much positive review for his performances on KPopstar season 1 and went all the way to top 4, but he also received as much hate as well. When LEESEUNGHOON was eliminated on the show, Yang Hyunsuk cried for the first time on the show and said to LSH that YHS wishes to see LSH in the world of professionals, then later took him into YGE. KIMJINWOO was a trainee for the longest time among all YGE trainees and drank cheap coffee instead of having more expensive meals because coffee made him feel full the most. There isn't a single member in WINNER who debuted with ease, and I am frickin pissed thinking about how sad the boys would have been when they saw all sorts of bull shit aimed at them for a member leaving the group and haters...WINNER go up higher.

3. (+195, -0)  I was so surprised that LOVE ME LOVE ME is a fan songã… ã…  Seriously, before coming back with REALLYREALLY shit like WINNER in crisis theories and rumours floated around everywhere, and I was so anxious and worried, but now I'm so happy that they are doing and being received so so wellã… ã…
Screenshot_2017-08-21-19-14-06-1.png

(Fanacc: W Told us the background story for the LOVEME LOVEME lyrics. They wanted to create a stage where, when fans ask to "love me!", they can give back the love unlimitedly... It's official that LMLM is a fan song and all I wanna do now is listen to it at their concert)

4. (+140, -0) You know what?ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ WINNER is the only YG group that didn't get any song from Teddy ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

5. (+100, -0) Definitely a boygroup has longevity thanks to a good song ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹  If WINNER don't win any trophies at the End of The Year Awards it will be a problemã…‹ã…‹ REALLY REALLY is doing so well among all the boygroups songs this year and deserve a big award.

6. (+96, -0) The only reason that WINNER fans can't leave despite of long hiatuses is because of the members.

7. (+86, -0) It's kinda sad because YG wouldn't like WINNER if they didn't succeed this year... I'm not a WINNER stan but I think he's is so bad lol.

8. (+82, -0) They have a good image because they have nice fansã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

9. (+78, -0) Just to tell you what kind of person Yang Hyunsuk is, he's someone who stans ikon on Twitter and Bp on Instagramã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ He neglected WINNER (dungeon, 0 promotions), but WINNER members produced good songs themselves, and created good choreography themselves. Also, Na Youngsuk PD saw SONG MINO's talents and brought him in, and KANG SEUNGYOON was just a guest on Flower Crew at first , but he did really well and became fixed in the show.

10. (+78, -0) WINNER is different from other boygroups. They have a loyal fandom without being a dancing group like others, when you talk about idols you think that they always have hard choreography... meanwhile WINNER debuted with a slow-tempo song and they managed to sell out a fanmeeting at the Gymnastic Stadium after 6 months...

These boys are so hardworking I don't have words to describe it.

its insane. they all work sooo hard.

YOON works so hard composing for winner. so much pressure

MINO works so hard on variety and getting WINNER's name out there more (and composing)

JINWOO works so hard trying to meet others expectations and on variety spreading WINNER's name

HOON works his ass off for WINNER behind the scenes. he not only choreographs but literally took WINNER's artist planning department into his own hands and now helps manage it. what kind of boss. hes a BIG reason why winner's promotions have been getting better.

WINNER has never had it easy.

This entire post is giving me the chills. Winner went through sooooo much. Before debut, after debut. Their whole careers were full of up and downs and NONE of them had it easy. They were treated like crap despite being in one of the biggest entertainment agency, they lost a member and received unwarranted hate even at their lowest point. Winner really fought hard to get to where they are rn and anyone claiming they are successful just because of YG brand is delusional. They are self made and know how to grab and treasure any opportunity they get cuz they know what it feels like to be at home doing nothing while your peers are releasing music and getting gigs everyday. A bunch of talented, hardworking and humble young men, that's Winner.

Once during our first hiatus... I thought about how much I hated YG... I wanted to quit everything YG because I felt like the company deserved nothing from me as a fan.

Then I thought about the Winner members and their struggles to debut.  I would have never thought that our first hiatus, as stressful and horrible as it was, paled in comparison to our second hiatus and Taehyun leaving the group.  I stuck through it all because I genuinely loved the Winner members and their music.

The Winner members never gave up when the going gets tough.  They have been knocked down so many times in life and they got right back up stronger than ever... they are TRUE WINNERS.

I am so happy to be their fan.  I am a fan for life.
