The Agressive Ape Theory and why women choose bold/aggresive men for sex

Recommended Posts

Primates (apes and humans) evolved from meek rat-like species. Their bodies became more developed, such as gaining more muscle power and the ability to fight with their hands and jaws. This likely arose from the need to destroy competitors by any means available (poking, choking, punching, grabbing rocks, etc). For this "killer instinct" to develop, aggression had to become an innate part of the evolving primate species. For the survival of the apes in their clans, the females had to select male partners that would be more efficient at being aggressive. Those who didn't fit the correct parameters for the females didn't have children and their more passive lineage died out. While males who developed civilization with their intelligence and ingenuity made this dynamic more complex than in the animal world, the same traits other primates posses could easily carry into humans (monkeys nurture their young very similarly to humans, for example). It is often said that females are attracted to "bad boys", which can be defined in different ways (some good or bad), but all have a dominant factor, they are all bold and not meek. To be bold a certain level of aggression is needed. It is also known that women like rough sex, and are attracted to males that possess more testosterone. Do you think this is an overlooked but key factor in women seeking a partner for sex?

Meh I know I'm a beta but I think I can be alpha when the time is right. But I would never get into a sexual relationship with a woman and just assume she likes to be fucked fast and hard becuz wez evolved from de apez and de cave menz heeerp. I'm also not a bad boy and think that whole concept is stupid because

1. Women don't think these men are good for marriage or......

2. They think they can change them.

Just be yourself jeez

If you are a beta then stay beta, let the alpha get all your bitches ha hah less competition. Female whether they like it or not or whether they know it or not, they will consider these traits of dominance in a guy and while finding a mate on a sub conscious level.

It might have been true when we were little more than hominids, but in a world as complex as ours, where intelligence counts much more than violence, such theories only seem like the sort of stuff the worst kind of MRAs say to justify their fedora-wearing douchebaggery.

I disagree. I'm an alpha and very attractive. I think girls tend to go for less dominent guys. Ive been told im intially intimidating.

It changes as they get older though as women get more confident.
