I found Christmas cards in a shop today... This is why the holidays don't feel special anymore. Because they're EVERYWHERE YOU LOOK FOR MONTHS ON END.

Speak on it. Just once in my adult life is like to fully enjoy Thanksgiving without BlackFriday occurring before I pull my damn turnkey out of the oven. :._.: I love thanksgiving, stop clock locking it Christmas ..

Did you buy a pumpking already? Maybe they imagine selling Pumpkins early would make them more profit or whatever...

God no lol. That's exactly their intentions really. :wut: I don't want it. I want to see the leaves change and fall off first. Then start running Nightmare On Elm Street marathons.

There's just something wrong to me about having celebrated Halloween the previous day and hearing Christmas music the next. In my old hometown more than one radio station would start way too soon with all Christmas music all the time (some shops would be playing those stations too). By the time Christmas got here I wasn't wanting to listen to the songs. The special feeling isn't there that time of year if you've been experiencing bits of the holiday for a few months now...

In stores it's just all about sales tho. Usually about reminder to "buy now" or "stock up" or "start saving" for holiday goodies so when the time comes you're "more than prepared". That's not so bad a few weeks ahead of time, but I don't wanna be reminded by a guy in a Santa suit on TV to put shit in layaway as early as October...

Lol, I admit that they start way too soon now and way before the spirit of Halloween even get started or any other holidays
