Sure there are more things to it, but strip away the drama and it all boils down to some people not liking the badge that won. I don't believe for a second there would've been a new vote if the other one had won. And obviously the supporters of the one that lost will work even harder this time.

I love all of the badges honestly, but #5 and #6 are my faves. <3 Voted for #6 though because honestly.... Hongkira > everything else

Maybe it could be included if we have to vote for bg colours, since the badges are already there.

 

Personally I I have nothing against the original at all. I just voted for new colours because I thought it would be nice to have more options. But my choise of colour would change depending on the crop since the colour would be more prominent in one than the other.
