avarice 4,219 Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 welp gonna make this short because everyone's already posted a lot about what's happening with snsd ._. but you know what makes me the saddest? it was their 10th anniversary, a pretty special one imo I mean from now on of course a lot of things can happen. they may go for another 10 or they may disband next year. they may get a kickass 11th/12th/20th etc. anniversary, who knows. but it's never gonna be their 10th anniversary again. I'm pretty sad because the wait up to it kinda felt like the good old days, when I had just got into kpop and each of my faves' comebacks was this awesome build up to something really exciting. of course I realize it was because I was younger/ more impressionable and I still get excited for my faves' comebacks, but you get what I mean. it was a lot of fun to get hyped about this comeback, speculating with everyone and gushing over the teasers and so on and now that ship has sailed. their 10th anniversary is always gonna be the 1 week promotion, no stocks, edited out anniversary. I know it might sound stupid to get so upset about this and it's not like I'm actually-cry upset, just kinda bummed out rn. just feeling kinda sad for my girls who deserved more :'( with past comebacks it was always 'well, at least they may treat them better on the next one' but we dont get a do over this time how y'all coping? SM is basically forcing members to renew at this point and under SM terms, SNSD members will have less power now for negotiations. My friend who was a fan of snsd since gee era was very excited and at first i was just trying to be a supportive friend, but later on, i got really excited especially when i saw yoonas teaser and i actually cried with her while watching the teaser.. but it seems that it happened years ago already and we are here now. Most snsd fans that i know dont care about the charts, yt views or wins anymore. They were just happy that the girls were back and they were planning a lot of things to celebrate the 10th yr anniv of snsd.. Now they are not even sure on how they will celebrate because of all the things thats been happning. Im sad for snsd and and their fans since as what op said, this wont happen again. They wont have another 10yrs anniversary again. And i actually felt really bad because im thinking that if this happened to my faves, i would really be pissed off.. sm needs to do something about this. This is snsd were talking about.. kellygreen 2,533 Posted August 16, 2017 Share Posted August 16, 2017 this comeback has been nothing like i expected or wanted for them. when a slew of variety show appearances were being scheduled for their comeback, i had a good feeling about their tenth year. now a week a later, this comeback has been through the shredder and neither snsd nor their fans has come out the same. its like they are being stripped of the achievements from the past ten year just because of this one comeback. it isnt fair, it isnt right. at this point, i just want the girls to be happy and do what they want. who gives a f-ck if peopl call them flops or has beens when they are still cashing in. being an idol will always be a large part of their careers but they are free to do what they want now and their rocking idol career is only fuel for their future Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I was so shocked because i expected way more promo. That being said, i still really enjoyed the comeback. SM can be crazy scary sometimes. they will go against their own artists if they have to. it's a reality check this time for me... all these years of hard work, sacrifices, not to talk about the fandom too and they get this kind of comeback that doesn't remotely do any justice to snsd and their 10 yrs together. it's all sad and kind of unreal to witness. I just hope there will be justice in the end. did you read Oniontaker's post on the topic? If that's all true then SM is just...
