Gary Chaw's performance of BEYOND's "Boundless Oceans Vast Skies" on IAAS make it the third BEYOND tribute on the show

On the recent 11th episode of I Am A Singer, Gary Chaw is back performing BEYOND's "Boundless Oceans Vast Skies". This is the third tribute to BEYOND on IAAS, after GEM and Paul Wong (BEYOND's guitarist)

BEYOND was a Hong Kong rockband formed in 1983, was and is still considered to be the most popular and influential act from Hong Kong. In the 80s and 90s, BEYOND's songs swept through the whole of Asia, especially China, Taiwan and South east Asia. Despite the songs being in Cantonese, fans from all over Asia knew their songs. With the audience reaction in I Am A Singer when the intro of BEYOND's songs are played, you can tell that BEYOND is still not forgotten in 2014.
