No they did not sing all of the SF&S album. I can't remember exactly how much they did sing, but it certainly wasn't all of it.

SuJu (and TVXQ) has a ridiculous amount of songs in their discography now, especially if you include subgroups and project songs for the concerts. The SS5 I went to was like close to 4 hours long I think, and they barely got the tip of the iceberg covered in their setlist. The thing is, even though the tour is following a full album release, fans still want to hear old songs as well.

I think the staff decide on the song list ???  not the artists themselves

I have no idea about TVXQ, but I'm pretty sure SuJu had a much larger say in the setlist for SS5.

The recent SS5, SuJu members decide the setlist( which songs in what order) .

A Super show never performs all songs in a whole album, they have 6 full length albums*~13 = 78 songs + SJM+ KRY + SJ-T/H songs = more than 100 songs to choose from (  not yet mention their Japan albums). They only take 20-ish songs from that pool.

It is impossible for SJ and other groups to perform a whole album. Let's be real, not every song in an album is good so...

I think it depends on the type of tour. since TVXQ have regular Japanese tours themed around their latest album release it figures they'd sing most of the songs from it. even their world tour was "Catch Me" though they sang some other stuff too.

for stuff like SS5 since it was an international tour it makes more sense that they'd sing a selection of stuff since it's not a regular tour... but idk for sure

because TVXQ have not much song from the duo. i think SM refrain current TVXQ to sing a song from TVXQ album when they was 5, so maybe that why they sing all song of their album to fill up the entire concert.

not really, they sing 5-member songs like Rising Sun and We Are all the time so I don't think that's really an issue. though obvs they leave out songs that were famous for 5-member acapella since two people obviously can't vocally compensate for that

This and she, athenna, rumor, goodnight and more need to be sing live

oh man agreed, Viva and SHE are particularly amazing songs. I can understand Viva is prob hard to choreograph for but they at least have performed SHE a few times at fanmeets which gives me life

Maybe since Catch Me was the first tour for them as a duo, they want to include the old songs and songs from Keep Your Head Down as well?

They sang quite a lot of old songs for Catch Me Tour. Even ballads like I Never Let Go, I Want to Hold You, Unforgettable etc.

I think OP means singing all of the songs in an album, for instance singing all tracks in Catch Me at their Catch Me tour. there's only about ~10ish songs in that album and they typically do ~25

i guess they wanna sing old favourites and have to push out some of the songs to make room for oldies? i dunno. but i prefer the japanese concerts too, since they sing all of them so a song has at least 1 live version.

The thing is even when they were still 5 in mirotic con they didn't sang all of the songs from mirotic album....

IMO, since it's a nationwide tour in Japan, the tour can be seen as another form of promotion for the album, which is why the setlist consists of mainly songs from the new record.

Not just SuJu and DBSK, but when C-pop artists hold world tours, they also do not perform all the songs from their new album. In this case, they'll just sing the more popular tracks from their last albums.
