After watching that scene, I feel like he wouldn't confess unless there's a trigger. Like another guy being interested in Jiwon lol If not I feel like they'd be stuck in friendzone forever.

Atm there are a lot of hints of season 3, and if everything is going well I think they will most definitely make a season 3.

Exactly. Like when he was grumpy (grumpy sungmin is god damn cute) when she almost went to the hotel with that other guy hurrplz.png  And when he pushed that guy once Jiwon fainted GAHAHAHHAAHA!! You can bet on it that Sungmin will take some action if another guy were to hit on Jiwon. Guy just can't control his jealousy (and his feelings for Jiwon are much deeper now, compared to before) ~

I don't want to sound like a party pooper but from what I've seen so far, I think I'm going to be satisfied with the ending for the most part.

I just want to know how they wrapped up the Hyojin story. Honestly in regards to Sungmin x Jiwon, towards the latter part of the drama, I knew that they wouldn't end up together even though I wanted so badly for them to be (esp after season 1). In some ways, I find it a bit fitting because it doesn't seem right to have a confession while the whole Hyojin storyline is in full swing. Since it didn't happen mid-drama I kind of slowly lost hope and just came to accept it whilst lowkey hoping for a miracle. If the romance comes, I don't want it to be jarring and I feel like the drama succeeded in keeping it real. I can understand Sungmin's fear of confessing too (if it's fear holding him back). They have such a fantastic friendship since they were young and a fear of taking it further is so real because if the relationship falls through, the friendship will never be the same again. So even if it's being a friend, it means he'll always be able to be by her side. That's just how I interpreted it from what I've seen.

Also loved how Kang unni is in the last episode too. That was a nice touch.

I liked the way it ended. Much like season 1, we get some sort of closure for the stories with some loose knots that are open to be explored further if they were to make another season.

I know people are disappointed about how Jiwon and Sungmin turned out and I would very much like to see them together as well, but Jiwon's main story was never her relationship with Sungmin. I enjoyed watching their dynamic throughout the season with their bickering and how Sungmin was always looking out for Jiwon. I didn't think they explicitly needed to hug, kiss or whatever for me to be satisfied. The best part about watching them was Jiwon's crazy antics anyway, and we got to see that. So I'm satisfied with how they ended that.

Say Park Hyesoo and Ji Woo are both available, who do you think will play Eunjae if they make a season 3?

My bet is on Ji Woo. Seems a bit out of character and rude to the actresses to switch back and forth.

I think Ji Woo would do it as well just for the sake of continuity. But personally, I still like Hyesoo's reading of Eunjae more because it felt so layered and nuanced- cute, shy and timid but at times brave and yet mysterious. I can't exactly pinpoint it but I somehow felt that Ji Woo's interpretation of Eunjae was more surface-level? This is not a matter of bad acting. The acting was fine and actually really good when it came to the emotional scenes but I somehow felt like she didn't completely become Eunjae. But anyway, I give props to her for it because she did a really good job for what she was given and it's literally as good as it gets.

Yeah I think with how Eunjae's story line this season didn't give Ji Woo much material to work with in general and she did the best she could since Eunjae no longer had that complex mystery to her any longer in her arc. I found that Ji Woo did really good in the emotional scenes but the writers couldn't write anything as close as to the layered character of Eunae in the first season. Also I don't know if anyone saw it but I thought Ji Woo had really fantastic chemistry with Choi Ara (Jo Eun). They had this really nice dynamic as friends where they care for each other, they joke around easily, but at the same time when they have different opinions of each other or about something they point it out. The moment when Jo Eun runs after Eunjae and Eunjae being like "I...don't know why I'm running" is one of my favorite moments from this season. It's comedic at first, but sobering when you realize the truth in Eunjae's thoughts about being scared of what you don't know/aren't familiar with and how unfair it could be. Jin Myung's moment with Eunjae watching the wind was also one of my favorite moments of the season because you really saw how much the friendship has developed in their characters between Jin Myung and Eunjae in comparison to the start haha.

Overall I really love how this season expanded and the s2 finale's goodbyes were really cute haha

like others in this thread, I like sungmin and jiwon but I figured that jiwon's main arc this season is about herself, her past, and hyojin as it should be. I'm fine with them not getting together this season because I think  even if this is the last season, they're just meant for each other haha. Aside from Jiwon, I think Ye eun's story and growth this season has been a great thing to witness, just watching her happily eating with Ho chang's family makes me happy. Jin myung has gone from trying not to care about others in season 1 to being the official Mom friend of the group and even befriended a work friend and got closer to the other lady in her office team. Eun had a touching story line with her mixed feelings with her parents but learned and gained a new group of friends and a bf, although things are strained with Ye Ji. I wasn't expecting to enjoy Eun's story line as much as I did, but her personal development as a character along with her relationship with Jang hoon made it one of my favorites of this season. Yi Na had the perfect amount of cameos and timing along with excellent comedic scenes. I think there's a good amount of closing up some stories and could serve as a final ending by leaving them all in a fairly good spot but leaves enough room in case there's another season for the writers to expand on with the characters

Here's to hoping for more Age of Youth! I love all the characters so much I already miss them (again)

Can I just say how much I feel for Yeeun and how shitty her family members are? Seriously my heart just broke for her when she opened up to her family and they all just sat there like they're mute. I know Yeeun tends to not be a favourite of anyone but I think her story this season is one of my favourites. It was just done so well and dealt with so much sensitivity. Yeah the girl can act a bit bratty/bitchy sometimes but you can tell she's kind hearted on the inside. Even when she heard about her friend who got admitted to the hospital. She said "who cares?" but you can kinda see in her face that she doesn't not care. I mean, if your family was this shitty, you probably couldn't help being bitchy every now and then as well.

i don't understand why is it taking so long to sub

All the popular sub sites basically take subs from legal streaming sites like Dramafever, Viki. etc. Licensing right to sub AOY2 is given to Netflix apparently who will not release the subs yet hence other sites can't rip it off and we have fansites subbing it in Indonesian and then Indonesian to English. That is why. People who do fansubs also have lives and work and school so yeah. They're all working as fast as they can I'm sure.

An interview from Park Eun Bin

'Age Of Youth 2'  Park Eun Bin, "There's no better guy than Im Sung Min"

20171010000916_0_20171010171114946.jpg?t

‘청춘시대2’ ë°•ì€ë¹ˆ, “임성민 보다 ê´œì°®ì€ ë‚¨ìž ì—†ì„ ê²ƒ 같다â€

Park Eun-Bin: There is probably no better man than Im Sung Min.

Actress PEB's storyline cannot be called usual, it was a heavy storyline. But the actress played the character of Song Ji-Won very well.

After being sexually abused by her art teacher, her friend Moon Hyo-Jin ends up committing suicide. On her behalf, SJW recovers her memories and avenges her friend, trying to undo even just a little bit of what her friend has suffered, and the actress acted it very well.
As a female college student, she is probably more cheerful than anyone, but while going through such tough times, next to SJW is a man named Im Sung-Min, her co-worker at the school newspaper. To speak politely, he's a "daddy long legs," but what SJW calls him is "slave." The couple was named: "Ssong-Sung-Min" and were very popular with viewers.

PEB said, "On the surface, they are friends. Best friends like no other. For SJW, she's reached a huge inflection point in her life, where her perspective on living life and how to view society has changed. She has to face the world and the older generation head on, so she is dealing with confusion, and Sung-Min comes to her.  Sung-Min does not demand or pressure JW and he just does what he needs to do. There is probably no better man than Im Sung-Min. Could any man fit this description?"

PEB had already worked on S1 with Son Seung-Won, so they didn't need much rehearsal, and they ad-libbed a lot. When PJW said "I will not die" in the end, she said she ad-libbed that line.

"Seung-Won Oppa started out doing musicals, so he has a lot of stage experience, and maybe that's why we worked together well. He didn't act in any expected ways, so I also matched that. There was a joy coming from acting in unexpected ways. My body remembered acting with him in S1, so even without rehearsal, there was a spontaneous quality that I enjoyed."

"I heard that real school news reporters don't act the way we do. (They shot in the real newsroom of Yonsei University.) Im Sung-Min character is ideal. If he really existed, I would advise [??] to marry him.

When asked if she regretted not having skinship with Sung-Min, she replied, "We put each other in headlocks."

In the interview, PEB spoke clearly and articulately, using her unique language, and she appeared smart and mature. We could see that she used her unique sensibility to interpret the SJW character, and performed it so we can sympathize with the character.

I just made Age of Youth marathon and watched both seasons in few says. The drama is so good. 😱

But I feel like the story of second season was even less closed than the first one. Seriously want to know if Jiwon will win the lawsuit and the girls will get their justice. If Yeeun will forgive her friend and if her family will stop being such a bunch of assholes... And what about Yeji. Tbh the whole last epison I thought the miracle will happen for Asgard. But well ... it would be too cheesy anyways.

Hope season 3 will come one day. But with the problems over cast... Not sure.

Nothing but tbh since the writers talked about who was the mother of that child on the last epilogue I don't know if a third season is necessary, of course it's just my opinion

They did? Iwould still like another season to see how everyone is doing or just a movie

Yes, I'd like to see that too but if you watched the epilogues, you'd know someone is gonna die and the last one is on the death anniversary of that character

I felt that since we still have a lot of unanswered questions they might do another season? maybe?
