Dont mind my grammar im a beginner

So I change my mind too much and I like to negociate to make things easier for me before thinking about others

So for example if I see that it will make me in trouble I will change my mind or if I see that im too tired to go out I will cancel the date (friendship date because I dont have a boyfriend)

i personally dont care if someone cancel a date at the last minute I dont get mad at all but when I do it people get mad ...

:'(

honnetement , the negotiating thing isnt that bad. Im in business and we negotiate all the time, its not bad, its just you taking advantage of your skills in an ethical way. The cancelling last min depends on the context, but if you cancel often on friends, theyre eventually gonna stop inviting you to places, so if you care about that then dont cancel too much, its better to tell them from the start you cant

I don't think it's that bad, but I know many will think otherwise. My advice is just try to stay true to your words. If you don't think you can change, talk to people and warn them beforehand. See if they can tolerate your behavior and adjust accordingly.

Thats what my father told me ! I think the "last minute" part is what people hate the most so Ill try to fix it

The negociation thing isn't necessarily bad unless it ends up badly inconveniencing your friends and family.

The last minute cancelling is big no no for me though unless there is a very good reason (like an accident or something). A friend who cancels on me at the last minute multiple times is untrustworthy and selfish to me, and it also shows that you lack the ability to plan ahead. If you think you'll be too tired to go out on the meetup day then refuse the invitation when it's first given or at least a few days before (around 2/3 days before if it was planned a week ago but at least a week before if it was planned for longer). That's especially true if the meeting was planned for a long time.
