They know more about vocal technique and stuff than I do, so I really have no other choice than to trust them. And they seem reliable too (most of them at least).

Yes. They know the professional stuff (which in the end hasn't any matter when it comes to liking something). They gives you objective view of your fave's skills

 

People have to learn that they only talk about vocal technigues which are objective way to review idols, liking something isnt objective. Just because they give them bad review doesnt mean you cant like that idol. If you like their voices then good. Unfortunately most people dont understand that...

I'm getting deja vu this topic comes up like every few weeks. 

 

I trust them because what they say generally corresponds with what I'm hearing and from what experience I have from rudimentary singing lessons + my brother being a classically trained singer. I can't say they're 100% true but on a whole, yes I'd say they're accurate.

I trust them because they don't try to claim how xxx is a vocal god/goddes when they are literally straining, breathing, wheezing, shouting the note unlike most fans. Just because it sounds good to your ears doesn't mean that they're doing it right.

Yes and no... I mostly trust their ability to separate good from bad technique, but I don't trust them to know real singing from fake singing (aka lip syncing, autotune, post-production, etc.) or to not be biased and that skews their rankings for me.

 

If you could somehow mix Kpopalypse (who gives shit and knows shit about singing, but knows sound engineering) and the vocal analysts (who are the opposite), then you'd be talking

Yesterday I accidentally watch his MV while searching for other Japan songs. I see bunch of his solo MVs. Did he leave AAA? AAA have lot of nice songs. He is my fav in AAA but i don't follow Japan group like I follow K-group now so didn't know what happen to him.
