She's the Designated Main Dancer in MAMAMOO for a Reason

Oftentimes Moonbyul's dancing skills are written off as being awkward or out of place with Mamamoo's choreography and I'm here today to set the record straight on this misconception.  

 

See, the thing is she was never a specialist in sexy dancing or flaunting her assets which is something that her members all have a more natural knack for.  Moonbyul has always preferred popping, locking and jamming in her sneakers, while heels are actually her weakness (in earlier MMMTV videos, she can very often be seen tripping or almost falling dancing in gigantic heels that most people wouldn't even think of ever wearing).  The fact that she's now much more stable on her feet in those killer heels is already a big improvement for this hamster nerd.

 

 

Here's a short clip of her freestyling to Body Party in a very casual manner; try to notice the footwork bc it is pretty amazing:

as always I really love how her feet move and how light and effortless each transition seems to be under her command.

I'm considering stanning. I like Moonbyul and Mamamoo more and more. I appreciate that they don't have a cute or sexy gimmick and just are. They have amazing voices, write a lot of their stuff and I want to be Moonbyul's best friend. She's awesome.

omfg this is so freaking awesome to read  you've got taste, my friend  mamamoo's lack of reliance on a gimmick/ concept type definitely differentiates them from the pack and will most absolutely help them in the long run bc they'll never outgrow their music; their music evolves along with them  not to mention their multiple talents that are constantly honed by the day 

 

and yes Moonbyul is awesome indeed, you're not wrong about that too 

(quick curious question tho: did you consider stanning bc of recent Mamamoo posts on OH, or is it after a long time considering?  either way you rock and I hope you have a great day!)

Awwwww, thank you! Honestly, the first time I saw them was because YouTube recommended a video of BTS to me at an awards show, and it was them sitting with a couple of members of BB while Mamamoo performed. I thought their performance was powerful and liked the song so looked it and them up. The more I watch and learn about them the more I like them. Mamamoo have a strong presence to them without it being a concept. They're invested in their music and it shows. They just do everything so well. I mostly stan for music and theirs is really great, but their personalities are awesome too.

Aww that's so lovely  Mamamoo's personalities also played a large part in converging me into a stan.  And their stage presence is no joke too, which has a lot to do with how much they love music and performing it.
