Do you like it or dislike it when people say your bias is underrated?

in my case I don't like it, I'm not sure why.. but when they say 'he's so underrated' it annoys me a little, and I know people mean good things, they are saying he deserves more attention and recognition than he gets ^^ I know, but.. idk why, it feels like pity, and idk... I don't like it ._.
