Yes, she was such a shameless liar... And I was way too close to her, even let her comfort me when I was crying... Thought of me disgusts me. Luckily I got her out of my life

It was a little easier to me because there was three of us and it was me and my other friend who got fed up by the third's actions. We stopped hanging out with her and when she came ask me what's going on, I told her straight that being with her was too tiring and I pointed out few examples in her behavior that was getting out of hand.

Cutting ties is absolutely never easy, but eventually you will be very, very grateful that you found courage to do so.

This friend's pride/ego has become out of hand that it is getting in the way of returning to her old fun self. Puts up an image of herself whenever we meet someone new, and if we are hanging out with our close friends she judges them soooooooo much.

 

Whenever she judges someone I say "OH she's doing that because she likes it, it's her way, or let her do her thing"

 

Her attitude just makes me not wanna see her unless it's with another friend...

 

I'm going to talk with my other friends to see if they feel the same, i know one does, and see if we can do anything about it

 

Ugh I hate confronting people...

i met my ex best friend in second grade and we were best friends all the way up into high school but as we got older i realized how toxic she was, or how toxic she was getting. she would always put me down, was jealous when i would talk or spend time with other friends and not just her, would get jealous if i was the center of attention, extremely negative 24/7, had nothing nice to say, etc. it got to the point where i dreaded to talk or hang out with her. after we graduated, we haven't spoken at all. while some may think this is a little mean, i'm glad in a way we don't talk anymore.

Yeah, he kept spreading lies about all his friends and turned out to be a pretty pathetic person in general, so we're not friends anymore.

 

I think i actually wrote about what he did in an other thread already if anyone wanna stalk.

He does sound problematic and I would think it's good that he's not in your life anymore. I would be curious what led to this tbh. If possible, could I have the name of the thread or the link? :D
