SoundScan Japan Highest Kpop Physical Album Sales To Release in 2017 (update 09.08.17)

 

(Important notes about SoundScan)

- SoundScan and Oricon are the two largest retail outlets in Japan. 

 

- SoundScan Japan only counts and publicizes Japanese's album sales (no K-albums). 

 

- SoundScan and Oricon's sales are different to each other due to several reasons. 

 

+ SoundScan counts all the albums purchased, there isn't a limitation like ones of Oricon.  

+ Similar to Oricon's top 300 or Hanteo top 100, SoundScan will only count album sales that are charting in the Billboard Japan/SoundScan top 50.
