Didn't SM say before NCT debuted that they're favourite ever trainee was going to be debuting, meaning Taeyong? Or something like that. I can clearly see they're talented, but I'm not sure I'd say they had anything about them that sets them apart from other SM trainees in the past. Taeyong's visuals are good, I guess, but it's not like SM don't have any other attractive male idols. But SM seems to be giving them both (especially Mark) a lot of time. He fits well in a lot of songs. I really enjoy his rap style. He's young, talented and visually appealing. Sm knows what people like and they know who'll stand out compared to others. There wasn't anything that tied him to that account. The user who posted it said they found it on Google, which was iffy. That's why the public focused on the scamming incident, which was proven to be blown out of proportion yep, and it was also later found that the kid who had supposedly been scammed by Taeyong had refused to take Taeyong up on his offer for a refund, too, AND that he knew the condition of the Gundam Taeyong was selling him but bought it anyway (Taeyong mentioned there were defects and asked if the kid still wanted it).
