One of the neighbors recently posted a rant on their personal social media about the rude behavior of WANNA ONE’s sasaengs.

Their sasaengs have been loitering around the entrance to their apartment complex, leaving food scraps, and harassing the residents.

One of the residents, Mr. A took to his social media to share the story of how his grandparents were harassed by sasaengs when they walked into the apartment behind WANNA ONE.

As they were entering, the sasaengs allegedly blocked them and screamed, to which the grandfather told them to “piss offâ€.

Instead of backing away, the sasaengs came on stronger and began cursing back at the neighbor’s grandfather and eventually got into a physical fight with him.

As if that weren’t enough, WANNA ONE’s sasaengs even asked residents of the apartment to leave gifts in front of WANNA ONE’s dorm on their behalf.
 
 

“Don’t give apartment residents gifts and tell them to ‘Put this in front of suite #00’. When I say no, you always mutter a curse under your breath.â€

In response, Mr. A begged WANNA ONE’s sasaengs to go home and not loiter around the apartment, and to support their idols without interfering with other residents’ privacy.

“Sasaeng fans, I saw there are a lot of you in your teens, and some even younger, so go home. Your parents will be worried.â€

This isn’t the only time people have complained about WANNA ONE’s sasaengs, as they are well-known to go to great lengths to see the group.

In fact, even WANNA ONE’s fandom have repeatedly contacted YMC Entertainment to crack down on sasaengs, but have not yet been officially responded to.

Hopefully YMC Entertainment sees how extreme WANNA ONE’s sasaengs can get, and incorporate rules and regulations in order to protect the boys’ security.

Idols are not toys. You are not entitled to barge into their life because you bought an album or went to a concert. You do not have the right to breach their privacy and the privacy of people affiliated with them because you "love them the most". You are not the closest to them or their number one fan because you steal and leak personal information about them. You are not given leeway to break the law. you will not be given special treatment. You will only be remembered by them as the creep who couldn't keep your obsession to yourself. You will be treated like the trash you are if you think its okay to be a sasaeng. 

 

Sasaengs have zero respect for people who aren't their bias, and tbh they have no respect for their biases or themselves either. Nobody is safe from these people... Whoever is handling Wanna One and their security needs to step their game up smh...

Everyone is going to downplay WANNA ONE's real skill or never see beyond their sales (which is def gonna be huge). 

I dunno that's a good thing for most people but this just gives me mixed feelings overall since P101 S2 finished...

I hope YMC (?) don't get overwhelmed and sell everything. They even had a voting for their debut song = clicks = $. I hope they don't over promise anything but yeah, just seeing wanna one's faces make wannables follow them hard. Guess it's the time to be young.

i'm already getting horrible flashbacks of the days when exo-ls did things like crash and ruin baekhyun's brother's wedding...it's horrible to have people like this in the fandom ruining everything for everyone

Ohh but I guess they'll tame down a bit right. I'll be back for Woojin, Ong and Daniel once things simmer down lol. It's going to be an interesting 2 years.

Lbr, part of the problem is marketing. These "idols" are marketed in ways that encourage obsession.

 

After all, that is how these dudes get all of those sales and awards.

The other thing, is the societal pressure when it comes to things like school and work. This can create mental disturbances in people that are left untreated due to the lack of access to mental health resources and of course, the stigma.

 

There needs to be a rehaul in society tbh and kpop companies need to implement new ways to market their artists as well as ways to protect them.

Sorry for the rant.
