I was wrong about Irene being the most boring idol

so I've said time and again that Irene was the most boring idol on kvariety and I hated to see her name on guests list.  after all, we have times like Radio Star (a show that typically has a 2 hour pre-interview for each guests, so questions don't come out of the blue) where she spent almost the entire episode like this: 

 

 

even on Weekly Idol she was quiet and reserved, letting her members have all the limelight.  that's fine, but she gets scheduled as the only guest from her group, and it doesn't add to the show (it makes it harder on the hosts, tbh).

 

BUT I HAVE SEEN THE  LIGHT!  It's not her fault.  she's just not meant to be on those shows.  she's meant to be on "Thinking About My Bias" (also know as "Oppa Thinking").

 

 

 Red Velvet was on that show last Monday and she was fully involved and fun to watch.  she's not the loudest in her group, which is fine.  a group full of loud people is difficult to watch.  but for once, it didn't feel like she was on the sidelines, observing.  she was genuinely reacting to things (at one point I even noticed her stamping her feet while laughing.  this idol doesn't normally react so passionately).  it was great to see.

the only knock I have on her for this show is that she often let her members speak for her.  which is ok, but I hope in the future she gets more confident about answering for herself.  this episode was a big change so I'm just happy to see that.
